Activity:
Imported the Gamejam skeleton. Began work on project. Implemented curstom shader for color tinting as well as trinsitioning when switching. Implemented the switching mechanic on jump.
Notes:
I modified the GameKit player script to get the switching to work with jumping. For the wall jumping mechanic I'll have to do something similar. The kit is using animation state machine states to achieve this sort of stuff, so I'll have to add a wall jump state transition when Airborne and close to a wall.
The switching is having some issues with collisions which I anticipated. For now can ignore, as I think the level design will account for it and it won't be a problem.
Time spent:
About 6-8 hours so far.
Outcome:
The gitlab project is kept up to date. No builds yet.
