Playtesting Feedback
I got some useful feedback during the playtesting class. Some of these things I knew about, but couldn't change/implement them because of time. Other ideas were new and quite interesting so I'll see what can be done about them.
Add instuctions and mybe some kinds of a tutorial.
The game requires some instruction that I gave the players during the testing. This is clearly not ideal, but I didn't have time to flesh it out. I have an Idea how to implement this and will try to do so as priority number 1.
This also includes describing the goal = escaping the maze.
The game was a little too difficult, which isn't bad in my opinion, but I would like people to see the rest of the game, so I will try to dial the difficulty down a little.
Mainly by healing the player to full whenever they perform an upgrade to any stat. Also I will increase the number of resources found in the level.
There were some issues with hitboxes being active on enemies that died. This is clearly a bug and will try to fix it.
Then there was some general feedback, like maybe add more weapons or bossfights etc. I would love to add those, but that is faar outside of the scope.
Generally though, I got mostly positive feedback. To me, it seemed like they were enjoying it and wanted to keep playing, but it would probably take more that 10 minutes - someone said maybe hours - to get even just through the first level.

EDIT:
I implemented most of what I said above. I added a tutorial scarecrow that tells you all necessary info. I made so that when you level up, you get healed to full. I fixed the broken hitboxes.
